Immunisation Register for Early Childhood Services and Primary Schools

Health (Immunisation) Regulations 1995 requires every early childhood service and primary school maintains an Immunisation Register.  This is a tool that can be accessed quickly by public health staff to determine if there are vulnerable contacts in your service or school to prevent the spread of a disease.  This could be related to an individual case or an outbreak situation.  To find out what you need to do and to download a copy of the Immunisation Register, click on the links below.

Health Protection - Sneezesafe

SneezeSafe® Healthy Classrooms Program is a health education program developed for New Zealand classrooms that has been running in schools since 2005.  Each winter Kleenex® Brand, through the SneezeSafe® Healthy Classrooms Program, helps to teach children to trap their sneezes with tissues and manage runny noses to teach good cold and flu hygiene. Teaching resources are available to reinforce the simple message – TRAP IT! BIN IT! WASH IT!
